SERDI Selected for Army National Guard Educational Support Services Contract

We are pleased to announce that SERDI was selected on September 24, 2008 to be one of only five organizations to provide higher education support to the entire Army National Guard (ARNG) - more than 362,000 citizen-soldiers around the world. (The other participants are IIF Data Solutions, MPSC, Ambit Group, and Cowan & Associates.) The total award of this BPA-type contract is projected to be approximately $200 million.

There are 18 specific tasks that are going to be awarded with this contract over the next few years, significantly improving the educational opportunities available to ARNG soldiers and their family members. Here are the projected tasks that will be addressed over time:

The Systems Engineering Research Development Institute (SERDI) is a small, woman-owned, certified 8(a)/Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) providing subject matter expertise services to Federal, State, and commercial clients and will serve as Prime Contractor for the TEAM. SERDI offers comprehensive Cyber Security and Information Technology Engineering Services. Our full suite of services includes strategic planning, business processes engineering, education, development, training, and program management. In addition, SERDI offers complete Information Assurance (IA) services including Certification and Accreditation (C&A), security audits, FISMA compliance, and much more.
The National College Counseling Center, with its state-of-the-art fourth generation Automated Degree Planning system which includes more than 5,000 undergraduate and graduate degrees from more than 325 accredited colleges and universities across the nation. Students also receive unparalleled support to assist them in attaining their academic goals, with access to hundreds of tuition-free college video and online courses to prepare them for national college examinations, introspective assessment tools to help the undecided, financial aid resources to help students attain scholarships, grants, federal student loans, and more.
The Council for Adult & Experiential Learning (CAEL), the nation's leading proponent of college credit for extra-institutional learning; CAEL promotes standards of practice embraced by colleges and universities across the nation for awarding of college credit for adult learning experiences. CAEL also works closely with the Department of Labor, municipalities, and numerous major corporations, assisting them in administering their higher education support programs, and assisting in workforce transition programs.
National High School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and offers online high school completion programs to students across the nation. They focus on each student as an individual and strive to help them succeed. Their rate of success in unmatched, as is evident in the graduations of students from their programs of study.
UNIVentures hosts the National Association for Veterans Education and Training Support (NAVETS) and hosts a unique database that makes it possible to connect people to opportunities, such as apprenticeship programs, workforce initiatives, etc. In addition, they have more than 10,000 subject matter experts that they refer to organizations to provide training in just about any subject imaginable.
SeBS - Strategic e-Business Solutions offers their services in support of analysis and, in particular, offer training and certification in Six Sigma analytical methodology.
